Running Shoe Selection - Free of charge. Booking not required

Includes foot size and width measurement, feet pressure point and mobility test. Treadmill run optional to refine shoe selection in motion. Perfect for providing information for selection of most suitable running shoes for your events and training.

 

Technique and Gait Analysis for Runners (CLICK TO BOOK) - £85 for 80 minutes with our coach

80 minutes of breaking down a run action to look for efficiency, injury potential, performance improvements and goal setting. Full gait analysis from head to foot. Session time includes working on personal exercise/mobility plan, training progression and suitability of footwear choices on speed and mechanics. Aimed at providing significant insight to help runners of many levels improve and enjoy their running experience.

Treadmill running of 9kph or quicker in running kit is required for this service. Fee is not deducted from any footwear purchase. Not suitable if have a current injury. Booking in advance required via website or in store.

 

Run Coaching - Price for 12 week plans.

Working with a coach can provide an athlete with a structured and progressive path to training. Rather than a generic plan it will be a personal program that fits with your time schedule and goals.

‘Responders and non-responders’ is the fancy way of saying not everyone improves in the same way. Your training, movement, recovery and mental approach to racing is specific to you. Your coach will help to discover and then understand what works for you and how best to apply that to your progression.

Our coaching team are experienced and qualified to help runners towards their goals. Having worked with athletes from 400m up to Ultra Trail we can offer knowledge across

·        Running technique

·        Pacing

·        Training planning

·        Event day nutrition

·        Recovery

·        Mobility development

Working with the Final Surge training app we provide day to day contact with our athletes as well as all data collected from your running watch device.

Your goal can be leading to a specific race event, just to begin running or a block of focused work. We recommend at least 12 weeks of structured training to target your goals, and to aid this our prices work on a 12 week cycle.
